Abner Levi Blackburn was born January 13, 1827 in St. Clair Township, Bedford County, PA. Blackburn was a member of the Morman Battalion that came to San Bernardino in 1851. He was a cooper. On April 28, 1852 he married Lucinda Harris in San Bernardino. Harris was born on November 13, 1832 at Harris, Prairie County, IN. She moved to San Bernardino in 1851. Abner Blackburn died November 2, 1904 and Lucinda (Harris) Blackburn died October 9, 1905. They are both buried at the Pioneer Cemetery in San Bernardino.
