San Bernardino Public Library's Wish List

To paraphrase Charles Dickens who wrote in a different context, we live in the best of times and the worst of times. We have more opportunities for improved quality of life, more cultural and creative spirit and technological advances that have brought ease, accuracy and speed to so many tasks. But 9/11, corporate greed and other circumstances beyond our control, have plunged us into a financial crisis and vast budget deficits.

Due to the state budget deficit and cuts to local governments and public libraries, your San Bernardino Public Libraries have ZERO money for books for FY 2003/2004.

We are extending a plea to the community for monetary donations to the library or to the Friends of the Library for the purchase of books or for actual books.

Help your Library by buying a book in your name or in honor of someone through Amazon.com. View San Bernardino Public Library's wish list of books on Amazon.com and purchase a book for your library - a gift that will go on giving forever to all those who read it in the future.

Please note additional books listed below that are on our "Wish List" but are not listed on Amazon.com.
