Daley was born March 31, 1825 at Skaneatles, NY. He arrived in San Bernardino in 1851. Daley was a County Supervisor, road builder, farmer. He owned a restaurant, the Daley Inn, located on what is now Third and E streets. Daley died January 22, 1896 in San Bernardino and is buried at Pioneer Cemetery.
