Stephen was born in Scotland on November 15, 1845. He came to San Bernardino in 1898. He was a singer, dancer, actor, poet and musician and he entertained at public occasions and for birthdays. Stephen was an active member in the Pioneer Society. He died July 18, 1921 and is buried in the San Bernardino Pioneer Cemetery.
